Make Cheese in June

Here is another great opportunity to fine tune your DIY skills. Join in the Riverside Education's Cheese Making workshop this June. Learn how to make a Swiss-Style hard cheese which will mature into something truly delicious.


It's not that difficult and all you need is some basic and squeaky clean equipment, kind guidance, a little bit of patience, and of course some fresh Riverside Milk. Our tutors will provide it all...


We invite you to give it a go on Thursday, 25th June from 6.30pm - 8.30pm at the Riverside Centre Kitchen. Only limited spaces available so get in quick - and tell your friends.

Please note that we will be using Riverside Milk which is RAW milk and may not be suitable for everyone's consumption. The Ministry of Primary Industries advises the following: ‘Raw milk may contain microorganisms that can causeserious illness. To reduce the risk of illness, raw milk should be heated to at least 70 degree Celsius for one minute. This is critical for infants, young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.’
